Merry Christmas to you and yours!

The Gift of Stillness: Wishing You a Peaceful Holiday

The holiday season often arrives with a flurry of expectations. We see images of perfect gatherings, hear songs about joyful reunions, and feel the pressure to create magical moments. It can be a beautiful time, but it can also be a period of immense stress, a reminder of what feels missing, or simply overwhelming. In the midst of the rush, it’s easy to forget the most important person to care for: you.

This time of year, we are reminded of the deep human need for connection and peace. It's a time to pause, breathe, and reflect on the year that has passed. It’s also a time to give ourselves permission to simply be. At Tap On That, we spend our days guiding you through the process of releasing what weighs you down. Now, we are taking a moment to practice what we preach and embrace the gift of stillness.

Taking Time to Recharge and Reconnect

Just like you, we are human. We are mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, and friends who cherish the warmth of connection. To fully embrace the spirit of this season, our team will be taking a break from our regular work to spend precious time with our loved ones. We believe that true well-being comes from balancing our passion for our work with the essential need for rest and personal connection.

Our office will be quiet, and our keyboards will be still. We will be trading emails for hugs, deadlines for unhurried conversations, and our to-do lists for moments of simple joy. We are stepping back to fill our own cups so that we can return in the New Year, refreshed and ready to support you with renewed energy and presence.

Your Tapping Practice Continues

While we are taking a break from new blog posts and daily operations, your self-care journey doesn't have to pause. We know how important consistency is when it comes to emotional well-being. That’s why we are happy to share that our Tapping Tuesday guided sessions will continue to be released every Tuesday as scheduled.

These sessions are our gift to you during this time. We hope they provide a quiet space for you to check in with yourself, release any stress, and find a sense of calm amidst the activity. Whether you need five minutes of peace before a family dinner or a moment to process complex feelings, your tapping practice will be there for you.

Embracing the Holiday with Self-Compassion

This season, we invite you to give yourself the gift of self-compassion. Let go of the need for perfection. Your holidays don't have to look like a movie scene to be meaningful.

  • It’s okay to say no. You don’t have to attend every party or event. Protect your energy and choose what truly nourishes you.

  • It’s okay to feel what you feel. The holidays can bring up a mix of emotions, including joy, sadness, and grief. Allow all your feelings to exist without judgment.

  • It’s okay to rest. You are not a machine. Give yourself permission to do less and simply be present. Read a book, watch a favorite movie, or just sit with a warm drink and watch the world go by.

These acts of self-care are not selfish; they are essential. They are the foundation from which we can genuinely connect with others and experience true peace.

Gratitude and Looking Ahead

As we close out this chapter of the year, our hearts are filled with immense gratitude for you, our incredible community. Thank you for your trust, your vulnerability, and your commitment to your own healing. You are the reason we do what we do, and being a part of your journey is a privilege we don't take for lightly.

We are excited about the year to come. The New Year represents a fresh start, a clean slate, and an opportunity to set intentions for the person you want to become. We look forward to reconnecting with you then, with new blog posts, fresh insights, and continued support for your emotional freedom.

Until then, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year filled with peace, warmth, and genuine connection. May you find moments of stillness, laughter that fills your soul, and the gentle comfort of knowing you are exactly where you need to be.

With love and gratitude,

Kimberly Michelle and The Tap On That Team
